I was a huge fan of the series “Roswell” and I am still addicted to this amazing show and its great cast. In 2001 I opened a fansite to promote the show. I always had the idea in my mind to support Colin separately, but because of not much free time it was just an idea for a long time. In the beginning there was the great homepage named “Blood Brother”, so no need for another online source because it had everything a fan was looking for!

Years after the closing of “Blood Brother”, in mid 2005 I finally started working on the website. Since there was no source in the world wide web anymore and Colin really deserves a website full with information about his career. Actually, I planed to be finished at the end of December, but it didn’t worked out. To promote this project I created a livejournal community called ‘Chankers’ (link), on January 1, 2006. It’s reason: to keep fans up to date about the creation of the website. In addition this livejournal community ought to be a news, (new)pictures, media source and a place to be interactive.

On January 28, 2006 the project got a huge push. The lovely Katrin, my long time online friend, offered some webspace and set the ball rolling. But that’s not all. Because of her technical help and support with many things the site found its way online. Even the domain is supported by her. Thank you so much! Bekay provides the most of the pictures to the site and it’s her credit that the vistors can find the latest pictures of Colin in the photo archive.

A positiv thing: All written news items on Roswell.4fans.net about Colin and his projects were transfered to the site. Even if the site was opened on February 2rd, 2006 the news archive goes back to 2004.

I am no lone fighter. Since Colin-Hanks.com is a website from fans for fans I am always looking for dedicated fans, who like to help. It’s more fun to talk about ideas and everything Colin related.

Besides Katrin the site got one more busy staffer. In 2007 Sarah joined the Colin-Hanks.com team.

In addition, Trude, Nadia, Jamie82, and more fans are helping out with sending news pieces in.

At the end of 2007 new fresh ideas for the site were born and the visitors can expect some changes and more goodies here on Colin-Hanks.com in the future!
